Local art gallery

A vibrant space where local art comes to life. Our gallery not only exhibits but also offers for sale unique works by talented artists from the region. With rotating exhibitions that change regularly, every visit is a new opportunity to discover fresh perspectives and emerging talents. In our latest exhibition, we visually explored the diverse varieties of corn (maize), a central and cherished element in Mexican culture. Through art, we celebrate the cultural richness and the profound connection to the land that corn represents for our community.

Every piece on display not only tells a story but also invites reflection on the diversity and beauty of our agricultural traditions.

Printmaking in Oaxaca

Engraving in Oaxaca is one of the state's principal artistic movements, standing out for its technical richness and strong link to local cultural identity. Driven by figures like Francisco Toledo and Shinzaburo Takeda, it has served as a means of critical and social expression through traditional techniques and contemporary themes.

The proliferation of graphic workshops in Oaxaca has allowed for the training of new generations of artists and the consolidation of a solid creative community. This art remains alive as a tool for reflection and resistance, positioning Oaxaca as a national and international benchmark for engraving.
